Medical care should be delivered with the utmost quality. Period.  That's our primary mission at Holistic Orthopedics. I am proud to employ an outstanding team of skilled providers who serve our community in a unique and profoundly effective manner.

I completed an Advanced Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington and am nationally board certified as a Shoulder to Hand Therapist.  After graduate school, I studied at the Institute of Structural Medicine, a 2,000 hour training in fascia, the body’s largest organ of connective tissue.  Increasing my understanding of connective tissue elevated my clinical outcomes to a whole new level.  

I am fascinated by fascial tensegrity and functional kinesiology. My graduate research was a national study of upper extremity pain in individuals with spinal cord injury. Much of my professional career was at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle’s Level I Trauma Hospital, where I worked in burns, rehabilitation, and orthopedics. Among my most treasured life experiences, are volunteer trips in a leprosy hospital in Nepal. For 30 years, I've been researching, studying, and treating connective tissue disorders locally and internationally. In my spare time, you’ll find me backpacking in the high alpine wilderness, skiing, trail running and attempting to keep up with my two teen-age sons.
